GREG WILSON QUINTET
Bassist-bandleader Greg Wilson has released two studio albums under his own name to date: 2023's "Time and Space" and 2024's "Thy Kingdom Crumb". Featuring a mix of Wilson's original compositions dating back as far as 2002, alongside contributions from his bandmates, these records were each created as rapid-fire group improvisations for submission to the RPM Challenge, an online community that encourages independent recording artists to create a new album from start to finish entirely in a single month. Much of this material still has yet to be performed live, but plans are in the works to bring this ensemble to the stage later this year, featuring the original recording lineup of Greg Wilson on bass, Jeff Fabis on tenor sax, Jake Epstein on keys and guitar, Ari Freedman on keys and percussion, and Dan McClymonds on drums.
